Quick quantity guide
How many cartons do you need?
Enter the measured area and choose a wastage allowance. Final quantities should be confirmed after site measurement.
How the estimate works
Each carton holds five planks of 1520 × 228 mm and covers 1.7328 m². Your measured area is increased by the wastage allowance you choose, then divided by that coverage and rounded up — you cannot buy part of a carton.
Wastage covers offcuts at walls, around doorways and at the end of each row. Simple rectangular rooms sit near 7%. A typical home with several rooms and doorways is closer to 10%. Diagonal layouts, lots of corners or a herringbone set-out need 15% or more.
Treat the result as a planning figure, not an order quantity. Subfloor condition, transitions, trims and set-out direction all affect the final count, which is what the measure and quote service confirms.
